Whitford donates two defibrillators to Twin Valley Fire Department

Due to its focus on health and safety, Whitford maintains an especially proactive relationship with the local emergency-response community, particularly the Twin Valley Fire Department, located just one mile from Whitford’s worldwide headquarters. Over the years, Whitford has made regular donations to the fire department, including monetary and pro bono service-related contributions.

On February 27, Whitford presented the Twin Valley Fire Department with a donation of two Cardiac Science® automated external defibrillators (AEDs) and new pieces of cookware. The AEDs will be placed on two primary pieces of the department’s fire apparatus. “The AEDs will make a very valuable addition to our medical equipment on the apparatus, and the cookware will be a great upgrade to the older, deteriorating items in our kitchen. As always, it is a pleasure having a local business support our 100% volunteer organization,” said Chief Brooks.

Despite its global footprint, Whitford maintains a family-oriented, community-centered approach through relationships with employees, customers, suppliers and the communities in which we conduct business.
