Customer Demand Planner

The Role

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will provide timely administrative support to the Customer Service Department. Key responsibilities include:

  • Execute and manage all order processing transactions including but not limited to order entry, managing order changes, confirmation of prices, follow up on payment, handling order enquiries and complaints
  • Liaise with customers on demand and supply schedule, to ensure customers’ delivery is met
  • Monitor orders and inform customers promptly when delivery schedule changes
  • Manage customers’ requests and communicate with production/shipping team to fulfil the request
  • Analyze production specifications and plant capacity
  • Plan and schedule workflow for each manufacturing department and operation
  • Optimize capacity and plan sequence of manufacturing operations
  • Confers with department supervisors, leaders and other departments to determine the status of committed orders
  • Expedite operations that delay schedules and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions
  • Release raw material request and follow-up on ordering/delivering with purchasing daily
  • Maintain accuracy of inventory



The Person

  • Diploma or above
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge and experience working with ERP system is a must
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Meticulous, multitask, organized and adopt a careful work approach
  • Team player with a positive work attitude
