Spraying is the most versatile and widely used application technique: conventional air spray, HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure), airless, pressure pot, electrostatic or tumble spray.
Wet coating is loaded into a spray gun (handheld or automated) and, under pressure, atomized as it is sprayed onto the surface of the component. This can also be done on a production line.
- Advantages: Smoother, cleaner appearance than dip spin, small parts do not need to be racked after coating
