Typical Application Product Code Description
Threaded fasteners; dip spin parts, small components; crews. 5110 Internally reinforced with titanium for improved wear / abrasion resistance, two-coat, high cure, PTFE based, nonstick, coating system designed for a coil coating application technique.
Threaded fasteners; wood screws. 5164 This resin bonded, lubricious, coating is designed to be applied by a dip spin technique.
Threaded fasteners, particularly for the automotive industry. 5230 This resin bonded, coating which is intended to be applied by a dip spin technique is designed to protect small fasteners from corrosion caused by road salt, acid rain and other forms of environmental corrosion. It offers controlled torque tension coupled with excellent corrosion resistance.
Threaded fasteners for the building industries, including the roofing and appliance industries; fasteners; stampings; end caps; screws. 5250 This resin bonded coating, designed for application by a dip spin technique, has a low level of PTFE to facilitate driving through metal without encouraging backout. Lots of colors available.
Threaded fasteners for the building industries, including the roofing and appliance industries; fasteners; stampings; end caps; screws. 5270 This resin bonded coating, designed for application by a dip spin technique, has a low level of PTFE to facilitate driving through metal without encouraging backout. Lots of colors available.
Threaded fasteners for the building industries, including the roofing and appliance industries; fasteners; stampings; end caps; screws. 5420 This resin bonded coating, designed for application by a dip spin technique, has a low level of PTFE to facilitate driving through metal without encouraging backout. Xylan 5420 is a VOC compliant product and is intended to offer an environmentally acceptable alternative to the solventborne materials.
Threaded fasteners for the building and appliance industries; fasteners; stampings; end caps; screws. 5430 Xylan 5430 is a protective coating for small fasteners and hardware. It is a VOC compliant coating that provides good corrosion and UV protection.
Threaded fasteners for the building, roofing or appliance industries where acid rain resistance is required; stampings; end caps; screws; roofing fasteners; transmission shafts. 5611 A zinc rich primer formulated for application using a dip-spin application technique. It enhances the Corrosion resistant provided by Xylan topcoats as measured in the Kesternich test DIN 50018 acid rain test.
Any mating surfaces that need dry lubrication in high speed and/or low pressure environments such as rotary actuators, Valve balls, plugs stems, bearings. 1010 High temperature resistant. Low coefficient of friction. Abrasion/ wear resistant. Easy clean. Dry film lubricant. Thermoset. Wide use temperature. Anti-galling.
Fastener coating for extreme low or high temperatures. 1014 Resin-bonded, thermosetting, dry-film lubricant designed for conventional spray techniques which, when compared to Xylan 1010 contains significantly more bonding resin relative to its content of PTFE lubricant. Altering the formula in this manner produces finishes which are harder, more abrasion-resistant, glossier, and less porous. Frictional values remain low and very predictable.
Temperature sensitive elastomers. Plastics. 1237 Low-cure, VOC compliant coating formulated for application by a conventional spray or dip spin technique. Provides good adhesion, excellent lubricity and moderate chemical resistance. Note: VOC compliance applies to USA only.
Standard fastener coating. 1424 This VOC compliant, resin-bonded, PTFE based coating is primarily formulated for use on fasteners to prevent corrosion and facilitate make-up torque. It is intended for application by conventional spray techniques. Note: VOC compliance applies to USA only.
Threaded fasteners, springs, clips and stampings. 5214 This resin bonded coating, designed for application by a dip spin technique, has the same ratio of PTFE to coating solids as Xylan 1014. This results in a "dip spinnable" dry film lubricant coating.
Used for food contact application requiring a dry film lubricant. 8110 Resin-bonded, thermosetting, dry-film lubricant; easy-clean coating designed for conventional spray techniques.
Used when regulation will not allow solvent-borne coatings. 8460 Is a resin-bonded, nonstick coating formulated to operate continuously to temperatures of 500°F (260°C). It is the coating of choice on cooking surfaces of aluminum castings.
Water heater elements, shuttle valves. 8820 The choice of manufacturers whose fabrication process dictates that metal parts be formed after the application of the surface finish. This formula contains a high percentage of PTFE for excellent long-term performance. This is a high release (HR) formulation.
