Xylan®

Xylan for Cookware

Xylan is the umbrella trademark for most of our products, and was the first brand offered by Whitford. It has become the world's most extensive family of coatings. The Xylan family of coatings is designed to suit a wide range of applications, offering one-, two-, and three-coat options, with a coating option for virtually every price and performance level.

Xylan can be used for cookware, bakeware, small electrics and any other housewares product that needs a nonstick coating. Within the Xylan family, Xylan is the mark applied to all one-coat systems, and Xylan Plus is the mark applied to all 2-coat and 3-coat systems.

Xylan for Bakeware

Xylan for Bakeware is an ideal combination of price and performance for OPP and Promotional bakeware and for oven items not subjected to high abuse. It is a single-coat, low-cure, solvent-borne system. The outstanding release is provided by silicone, not PTFE. Therefore, Xylan for Bakeware can be marketed as “Made without PFOA”. Xylan for Bakeware is ideal for aluminum and phosphated carbon-steel substrates.

Xylan for Coil

Xylan is a lower-cure, lower-use-temperature, easy-clean product ideal for the lower or promotional OPP bakeware and roasters category. Xylan is available in a wide range of colors and is made without PFOA.
